India-a country with unity in diversity


The India is a beautiful country with a proud heritage and rich custom. The country with unity in diversity embraces a variety of cultures, traditions, customs and languages. Different religion of the people who live here, but probably all are United by a unique feeling ' is an Indian ".

The diversity which clearly reflected the variety of traditions followed in India. Are Gujaratis, Brahmans, Marwaris, Bengalis and South Indians, Muslins and even Christians. All of these religions have their distinctive languages, beliefs, values, culture, festivals, dances, music, art and even clothing.

Festivals in India is extremely bright and colorful. Although all faiths celebrate their Festivals but home shines in all regardless of what the Festival is where religion eortasimi days. Hindus constitute majority here and have numerous Festivals, including the Diwali, Holi, Raksha Bandhan, Ganesh Chaturthi and Ram Navami. All these Festivals are not fixed dates, such as Hinduism follows the lunar calendar. The there are Muslims who celebrate Eid-ul-Fitar and Eid-ul-Adah with great cheer and fun. Christians celebrate Christmas and Mahavir Jayanti Jainis celebrate Sikhs celebrate birthday of Guru Govind Sing. Apart from these there are also other Festivals listed in the Indian calendar.

As the Festival, even dancing music have their own sources in different religions and cultures. Bharatnatyam and Kathak, Kathakali and Kuchupudi are all forms of Indian dance, but all are in different States and have their roots uniquely. Bharatnatyam is from southern India, Kathak from Northern India, Kathakali from southern Indian State of Kerala. Kuchupudi is a classic form of Indian dance and Odissi dance is similarly, Garba, Dandiya, Bhangra, and Mohiniyattam.

Diversity is also view in Indian Art. It is extremely beautiful and rich with several classifications based on times, religions, political changes and cultural developments. The uniqueness lies in the fact that the truth or the philosophy of life is raised surprisingly on canvas. Humanization gods, Celestial beings, human characters, ideal life, political personalities, true ancient history, struggle for freedom, stages of development, and there were huge all out for the amazing art. There are many Indian artists who are internationally known for their innovation, creativity and imagination.

When we talk about traditional Indian clothing we believe that there is no diversity because all religion and custom have adopted saree as their traditional dress. But there is no and here diversity. Although one form of attire is acceptable by all human beings have their unique designs and formats sarees as per their religion. For example, traditional Patola saree of Gujarat are from Rajasthan and Bandhani. Apart from this there are various forms of saree as Kanchipuram, Mysore silk, Luckhnowi and Gajji silk that is specific for people of different religions. In addition there are choices of sarees, salwar kameez.

With such great diversity, India continues to have a beautiful blend of cultures, art forms, dance, music, clothing and customs.
